But ... Not Quite.
So, I'm checking my gmail when I look up at my customized web-clips that looks for google search results for blogs including "Second Life". I see this:
Previously a vertex importer had been made for SL to import 3DStudio files, and it really never was good because of all the cool things you can do in 3DStudio that you can't do in SL.
But, Sketchup apparently stores data on faces, and that appears to make it very spiffy for coming up with primitives. So, this gentleman has made a neat prototype, and I'm hoping he continues to develop it because there's throngs of Second Lifers who would love to be able to use Sketchup as a much more friendly build tool
